אַהֲבָה רַבָּה אֲהַבְתָּנוּ יהוה אֱלֹהֵינוּ. בְּאַהֲבָה נִבְרֵאנוּ וּבָאנוּ אֶל עוֹלָמְךָ, וַתִּתֵּן לָנוּ חַיִּים וּבָהֶם יֹפִי, חֶסֶד וֶאֱמֶת.	You have loved us with a great love, o YHVH our elo’ah. With love we were created, and with love we came into your world. You gave us life – a life of beauty, kindness, and truth.
וְהָאֵר עֵינֵנוּ לִרְאוֹת, וְלָשׁוּב וְלִרְאוֹת אֶת אֵלֶּה בְּעוֹלָמְךָ, וְדַבֵּק לִבֵּנוּ בִּקְדֻשָּׁתָם שֶׁל חַיֵּינוּ וְשֶׁל חַיֵּי כָּל הַבְּרוּאִים.	Enlighten our eyes that we may see them in your world, every single day. May our hearts cling to the sanctity of our own lives and to the sanctity of the lives of all created beings.
וְלֹא תִּקְהֶה בְּקִרְבֵּנוּ הַפְּלִיאָה מִפֶּלֶא הַבְּרִיאָה וְלֹא תֵּעָלֵם מִלִּבֵּנוּ הַיִּרְאָה לְנֹכַח קְדֻשָּׁתָהּ, וְלֹא תִּרְפֶּה רוּחֵנוּ לַעֲמֹל וּלְכוֹנֵן צֶדֶק, שָׁלוֹם וּרְפוּאָה בְּכָל אֲשֶׁר נֵלֵךְ, בְּשָׁכְבֵנוּ וּבְקוּמֵנוּ וּבְהוֹלְכֵנוּ בַּדֶּרֶךְ. בָּרוּךְ אַתָּה יהוה הַנּוֹתֵן חַיִּים בְּאַהֲבָה. Avraham Leader is an internationally acclaimed teacher of various schools of Kabbalah and a founder of Matzref – The School for the Study of the Prophetic Consciousness Teachings of Rabbi Avraham Abulafia. Avraham has published new editions and translations of primary Kabbalistic texts. His students over the past thirty-five years include teachers, researchers, rabbis and beginners.

The work before us is included in the collection of Micrography of the Jewish Theological Seminary, and on their website they explain that it was created in 1824 by Baruch Ben Shmaria from Brisk, Lithuania or from Hamburg, for Aaron, son of Abraham, and for his wife, Reina-daughter of Joseph Kobrin, whose names, as well as the name of Baruch son of Shmaria, surround the three flowers that appear in the central circle, and the date appears in the chronogram, the numerical value of the words Ahavat Olam (Eternal Love).
